We are very proud and excited to present to you this exceptional 1963 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe. We see a lot of really cool rides, but sometimes we get a car that is so special that all of us just stare at it in amazement – this is one of those cars! This Impala comes to us with an astounding amount of original documentation that has been carefully preserved for the last 61 years. We have the original order sheet, original first owner title, original shipping form, original final bill of sale, original window sticker, original owners guide, original owner protection plan booklet, and the original custom accessories guide! These documents show that this uniquely optioned car was specially ordered and originally sold by Clements Chevrolet in Sykesville, Maryland, in April of 1963. This Tuxedo Black Sport Coupe was ordered with black trim, a 4-speed close-ratio Borg Warner transmission, a Turbo-Fire 409 engine, Positraction rear axle with 4.11 gears, power steering, 2-speed wipers, a heavy duty battery, a push-button radio with rear speaker and antenna, front seat belts, a tinted windshield, a front grille guard, and rear bumper guards. The final bill of sale shows that before delivery of the car, Clements Chevrolet installed dual-quad Carter carburetors and a matching intake manifold then tuned the engine to new specs! This $95 dollar add-on resulted in a 25hp increase on top of the 409's already impressive 400 horses. As if all of this isn't cool enough, this Impala still retains its original 409 V-8, the original 4-speed transmission, the original intake manifold, and dual 4-barrel carburetors (new Edelbrock carbs are on the engine and original Carter carbs are in the trunk)! To put a cherry on top of this already amazing car, it was treated to an extensive restoration in 2019 that brought it to the level of excellence that you see today! Let's dig a little deeper into this very special Impala....
