When you open the driver's door you'll immediately notice that it has a like-new black deluxe vinyl pony interior. The interior was redone in 2015 (only about 300 miles ago) and it looks fabulous. While it is no longer a stock 64 ½ interior, it is beautiful and comfortable. The under-dash courtesy lights illuminate the interior as soon as you open the door. The door panels have been replaced with newer ones that have integrated armrests and pistol grip handles. The glass is in great condition throughout the car and the windows all roll up and down with no issues. The black carpet looks new and is topped off with very nice logo floormats. Between the bucket seats is a full-length center console (as originally ordered) in very good condition. An aftermarket black armrest with storage box and cup holders has been added atop the center console, but it is not permanently affixed and is easily removable if desired. The original steering wheel is in great shape with a working horn. The padded dash is crack-free and the bright trim on the gauge cluster and glovebox looks very nice. The driver's air vent knob has an “A” on it and the heater fan has only 2 speeds with off in the center as only 64 ½'s do. On the dash is a “GEN” light that would change to “ALT” in later cars. Also on the dash are controls for the 2-speed wipers, the original AM radio (inoperative), and a working cigarette lighter. Though the original radio doesn't work, there is a hidden AM/FM receiver with remote that is there to provide some cruisin' tunes. The back seat is equally as nice as the fronts and features seatbelts for passengers. The light in the glovebox works, and you'll find an unopened pack of “Mustang” cigarettes from the era inside – just in case you want to make use of the four ashtrays in the car.
