We are excited to present for your consideration this iconic 1966 Ford Mustang. This beautiful Mustang coupe has undergone a respray at some point in its life, but it is still dressed in its original color of candy-apple red. The paint looks great from a few feet away, but on close inspection, it shows some chips and swirls that place it in the driver-quality category. The chrome bumpers look great, as does the front grill that bears the famous “Horse and Corral” logo. Newer chrome rocker covers tie together the sides with nice contrast. The “E” shaped emblems on the rear quarters are in good condition but show a little age. Not to worry though, as there is a brand new set of emblems in the trunk. The body lines are nice and straight, and the panel gaps are consistent. This Mustang has a great stance and sits atop US Mag wheels wrapped in Solar 4XS tires with a thin white-wall.

Under the hood of this pony, you'll find a C-code 200hp 289 V-8 that was rebuilt at the end of 2019. At the same time, the engine was rebuilt, the C4 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission was serviced, and the front suspension was given new inner and outer tie rods as well as new upper and lower control arms. The engine bay is very tidy and stock in appearance. Underneath the car is a newer X-pipe exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers and a newer re-manufactured rear differential – both done in 2020. The sound of the exhaust coming out of the through-body tailpipes is simply awesome!

Open the driver's door to find a very nice OEM style interior dressed in red, as originally ordered. The bucket seats are quite comfortable, and the vinyl is in excellent condition. The red carpet looks great and is covered with rubber Mustang floormats to keep it that way. The door panels are in good condition, and the headliner is nice and tight. The driver is treated to an original steering wheel, working factory gauges for fuel, oil, amps, and temp, as well as an aftermarket Autogage tachometer on the steering column. The shifter for the Cruise-O-Matic transmission is on the floor between the seats. Other features include working heat and fan, 2-speed wipers, working courtesy and glovebox lights, and an aftermarket stereo (inoperative) with 6x9 speakers in the rear.

Around back in the trunk, you'll find a full-size spare with jack, a collection of both new parts and original parts that have been removed and replaced, and a folder of receipts for work done on the car since 2019. This Mustang is an excellent opportunity to own a turn-key American classic for a price that won't break the bank. All the hard work has been done, just hop in, hit the key, and enjoy the ride!
